Days of Wonder has added multi-player functionality to its Ticket to Ride Pocket version for small iOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch).  Players using the app ($1.99) will be able to play against up to four online friends.  It will also allow players to switch screens to other games or apps without losing progress on the game. 

Software for playing via Bluetooth has been improved in this version.  The iPad version was updated simultaneously with the new Pocket release to ensure compatability with the new Bluetooth software.    

The first version of Ticket to Ride Pocket was released last fall (see “Ticket to Ride Pocket”).  The online version launched in 2004 (see “15 Million Online ‘TTR’ Games”).
