SPOILER ALERT--The new three-minute international trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus provides some new insights into the narrative of what is clearly the most eagerly anticipated science fiction movie of the summer.  A group of explorers seeking the origins of mankind on a distant planet discovers, to their horror that they may instead have come upon a force that spells doom for humanity.

Ridley Scott's Prometheus, which stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, and Guy Pearce is slated to debut on June 8th.  The information flow for the enigmatic feature film, which debuts in just five weeks, has begun to pick up with the release of this trailer and a featurette in which Scott talks briefly about the movie (see "New 'Prometheus' Featurette").
