New Title for '300' Sequel

Warner Bros. has given a new title to the 300 sequel: 300: Rise of an Empire, according to Deadline.  The working title had been 300: The Battle of Artemisia. The film is based on Frank Miller’s yet-to-be-published Xerxes, the sequel to his original graphic novel 300.
The film is planned for release on August 2, 2013, starring Rodriigo Santoro as Xerxes, Sullivan Stapleton as the Athenian Themistocles, and Eva Green as Artemisia (see "Eva Green in Talks for 'Xerxes' Adaptation").
