Marvel will launch Castle: A Calm Before a Storm, a five-issue miniseries tied to the ABC TV series, on December 5th.  The story will be by Peter David (Dark Tower, X-Factor), with interior art by Robert Atkins (Amazing Spider-Man) and covers by Mico Suayan (Moon Knight).  

In the series, Derrick Storm is enlisted by his CIA handler Clara Strike to crack a plot after the severed head of a Russian diplomat is found in the Hudson.  He’s pitted against eastern bloc mercenaries and an ex-KGB hit-man known as "The Fear." 

This miniseries follows the release of the second Castle OGN in October (see "A Second 'Castle' Meta-Graphic Novel").  The TV series is based on the novel by Richard Castle.
