NYCC News: Comic book scribe-turned screenwriter David Goyer announced at the New York Comic Con that DC Comics was “holding space” in 2013 for a 13-issue series that would see Goyer writing a 13-issue arc with Geoff Johns, who is currently the writer of DC’s very popular Justice League comic. No word has leaked out yet about the nature of their collaboration.
Goyer is an accomplished screenwriter. He co-wrote the screenplay for The Dark Knight Rises, also contributed to 2005’s Batman Begins and 2008’s The Dark Knight as well as the Blade films based on the Marvel comic.
