Monte Cook’s upcoming Numenera roleplaying game (see "Monte Cook's New RPG at over $300K") will be used as a setting for a videogame sequel to Planescape: Torment, according to RockPaperShotgun. Planescape: Torment was a popular roleplaying videogame, but the Planescape setting is not available for a new version because it’s tied up by Wizards of the Coast.
The videogame has the potential to raise Numenera’s already high profile (its Kickstarter project raised over $500,000).
