WizKids is planning a June release for BioShock Infinite HeroClix, a tabletop miniatures game based on the award-winning first–person shooter game created by Irrational Games. Set in 1912, the BioShock Infinite video game allows players to assume the identity of Pinkerton Agent Booker DeWitt, who is sent to the flying city of Columbia to rescue Elizabeth, a beautiful woman with special powers who has been imprisoned for years. There’s room for more than the usual amount of character development in the game’s elaborate narrative as DeWitt and Elizabeth form strong bonds as they attempt a daring escape from Columbia.
With the BioShock Infinite HeroClix players can explore Columbia and experience their own grand adventures with DeWitt, Elizabeth, and the Boys of Silence in the classic HeroClix tabletop format. The Bioshock Infinite HeroClix figures come in two different retail formats. There are 14 different BioShock characters (complete with HeroClix dials) in the 24-count BioShock Infinite HeroClix Gravity Feed. The BioShock Infinite HeroClix Starter Sets contains everything needed to start playing the game including six figures (with sculpts and dials not found in the main set), plus two maps, the HeroClix Core Rulebook, a Powers and Abilities Card, Object and Terrain tokens, and dice.
