Mezco Toyz has acquired a license via Surge Licensing to produce merchandise, including action figures and plush, based on Axe Cop.  The property originated as a Webcomic (collections published by Dark Horse), and is now in production as an animated series, which will premiere on Fox as part of its ADHD block in July (see "Voice Cast for 'Axe Cop'"). 

Surge began licensing the property in 2001 with a Munchkin expansion by Steve Jackson Games, shirts, costumes, and stickers (see "'Axe Cop' Expansion for 'Munchkin'").
