Walt Disney Studios has announced that Spirited Away is being re-released into theaters this Friday, March 25th, in the wake of its Oscar win for Best Animated Feature last Sunday (see 'Spirited Away Takes Best Animated Feature Oscar'). Although the release didn't indicated a number of theaters, the LA Times and Cartoon Research (as referred by Anime News Network) are indicating 800 theaters, which would be a far wider release than its initial bow, which hit 97 theaters at the highest point we noted.
