Peter Panzerfaust, "the World War II escapade inspired by the classic J.M. Barrie creation Peter Pan," is getting the motion comic adaptation treatment, Image has announced.  Produced by Adjacent Productions and Quality Transmedia, the fully animated comic will feature the voices of Elijah Wood (Peter), Summer Glau (Wendy), Ron Perlman (Kapitan Haken), and Dante Basco (Alain).  A trailer for the motion comic will be shown at C2E2 in Chicago on Saturday, April 27.

Adjacent Productions and Quality Transmedia are also developing a live action series based on the ongoing Panzerfaust comic book.  Adjacent is a label of BBC Worldwide Productions.  Quality Transmedia is a new company (2012) focusing on entertainment that can be incubated on digital platforms and shifted to broadcast and film.

Peter Panzerfaust #s 6-10 will be collected in Peter Panzerfaust: Hooked ($14.99, 128 pgs.), a trade paperback set for release by Image/Shadowline May 15th.  Fans can look for Peter Panzerfaust #11 in July.
