Marvel Studios has released a new poster for Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World that provides a stunning look at Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim, who is seen removing his mask to show the true evil that lurks behind his maniacal scheme to plunge the universe into darkness, the narrative thread around which the second stand-alone Thor film is built.
With the debut of Thor: The Dark World on November 8th now just two months away, the pace of publicity for the film is picking up. Last week Marvel Studios released two new posters (one featuring Thor and the other Loki, see "New 'Thor' Posters"), so it’s only fair that Malekith, who is the major villain in Thor: The Dark World, gets the same treatment.
