Ultra Pro has signed a license agreement with Aniplex USA to offer a new line of trading card game accessories based on the anime series Sword Art Online (SAO).  The distribution of Ultra Pro’s SAO products will be limited to the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland.  The line will be a fit for players of Bushiroad’s Weiss Schwarz TCG, which featured the property last summer (see "'Sword Art Online' Trial Decks and Boosters" and "Exclusive 'Weiss Schwarz' Promo Card in 'Sword Art Online' BD").
 
Three different SAO  themed play mats will be the first offering, depicting scenes from the first half of the 25-episode series, which is currently airing on Cartoon Network as part of its Toonami anime block and available on DVD and Blu-ray (see "'Sword Art Online' Anime Due in August").  The mats should ship in late November. 
 
Ultra Pro has yet to finalize the full range of products, but plans to add Deck Protectors and deck boxes.
