Image announced it will release Sex Criminals Volume 1 TP to comic stores on April 16, with mass market release to follow on April 29.
 
Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky’s irreverent series sold exceedingly well in periodical form (with the first issue reprinted six times, so far), and was Time magazine comic critic Douglas Wolk’s top comic book pick of 2013 (see "'Time' Magazine's Best Comics of 2013").  However, the graphic theme has also stirred controversy, both for physical and digital retailers (see "Apple Takes Down 'Sex Criminals' #1" and  "Top Ten Comics Business Events of 2013"). 
 
The 136-page, full color paperback collects Issues 1 -5, and releases to comic stores on April 16, with an MSRP of $9.99.  Bookstore release will follow on April 29.
