Soda Pop Miniatures, makers of Super Dungeon Explore and Relic Knights, has announced an end to its three year publishing relationship with CoolMiniOrNot.
"We are happy with the cooperative effort with CoolMiniOrNot over the past three years," said John Cadice, Creative Director of Ninja Division, the games publisher that works with creative studios Soda Pop Miniatures and Cipher Studios. "We are now looking forward to self-publishing these titles."
"As agreed with Soda Pop Miniatures, we will finish fulfilling all existing orders on these titles including those on the Relic Knights Kickstarter, and transfer full control and inventory to Soda Pop Miniatures in an orderly fashion in the coming weeks," said Chern Ann Ng, Director at CoolMiniOrNot. "We wish Soda Pop Miniatures and Ninja Division all the best on their future plans."
Relic Knights, for which CoolMiniOrNot ran the Kickstarter, raised over $909,000.
Ninja Division is currently collaborating with Palladium Books to produce the miniatures for Palladium’s highly anticipated Robotech RPG Tactics game (see "Ninja Division on 'Robotech' Minis"). Soda Pop currently has a companion edition for Super Dungeon Explore, Super Dungeon Explore: Forgotten King, currently up on Kickstarter, where it’s raised $384,000 with 21 days to go.
