Both Marvel’s Agent Carter and The Flash have added new actresses this week.
Malese Jow will be added to CW’s The Flash in the recurring role of reporter Linda Park, a love interest for Barry Allen, according to HR. Jow (The Vampire Diaries, Star Crossed) will be introduced as a friend of Iris who meets Barry at a bar. In the comics, Linda Park is Wally West’s girlfriend and eventual wife.
Marvel announced Lyndsy Fonseca (Kick Ass 1 & 2, Nikita) in the role of Angie Martinelli, an aspiring actress in 1946 New York, who befriends Peggy Carter. She will join Dominic Cooper who was recently announced in the role of Howard Stark and Shea Whigham as SSR Chief Roger Dooley (see “DC, Marvel TV Casting Round-Up”) in the ensemble cast for the mid-season ABC drama.
