Bushiroad will release Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Booster Pack 1: Generation Stride, which introduces the new Cardfight!!Vanguard G anime story arc to its TCG, on March 13.
The second series of the anime introduces the all new "Stride" mechanic, which will first appear in the trio of Trial Decks arriving on February 27th (see "Three 'Cardfight!! Vanguard' Trial Decks"). This will be the first booster release to include the mechanic, and it also introduces the "Generation Break" mechanic. The booster will feature the new Gear Chronicle clan, and also feature strong support for Royal Paladin, Nova Grappler, Kagero, and Oracle Think Tank clans. The "Cray Elementals," which can be utilized by all the clans, make their debut with this set as well.
Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Booster Pack 1: Generation Stride set contains 103 cards (GR: 1 / RRR: 8 / RR: 12 / R: 22 / C: 60) which include SP: 12 (Parallel). (GR=Generation Rare- a new rarity). At least one card in every pack will definitely be an R or above. Displays contain 30 packs, each containing five random cards. There are 16 displays per carton, and each carton will also include 4 premium rubber playmats. Each display will come with one PR card (of 4 types) and one signed foil PR card (of 6 types).
