The Genio Group has launched a campaign for its educational Genio Cards based on a 30-second television commercial, which it is airing on Nickelodeon, the Cartoon Network, ABC Family Channel, USA, and Lifetime cable networks during programming periods targeted at children and families. The campaign started in late November and will steadily increase in frequency into early 2004. The Genio Cards feature Marvel Superheroes, who function as guides to pique the interest of the game's young target audience in thirty different subject areas (see 'Marvel Licenses Educational Card Game'). Genio Cards are currently available in almost 15,000 different retail outlets in the United States including specialty and hobby stores as well as mass-market venues.
