It’s Peter Parker’s turn to face a Predator in
Predator vs. Spider-Man, a four-issue miniseries that’s the third crossover between the Predator franchise and the Marvel Universe (so far). Benjamin Percy, the writer of
Predator vs. Wolverine and
Predator vs. Black Panther, is back for a third round, working with artist Marcelo Ferreira.
Predator vs. Spider-Man will mark the debut of a new Predator, a loner motivated only by a desire for violence. “Marcelo Ferreira captures the visual dynamism of Spidey so well, and we've had a lot of fun designing a Predator that is unlike any other,” Percy said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “This Yautja—who we're calling Skinner—has no code or clan. He's the perfect nightmarish foil to the big-hearted Parker.” The first issue will go on sale on April 23, 2025, with a main cover by Paulo Siqueira and a variant cover by Ryan Brown.
Marvel announced the first Predator/Marvel Universe crossover in 2023 (see “A Predator Enters the Marvel Universe for the First Time”). Predator vs. Black Panther launched in August 2024 (see “Preview: ‘Predator vs. Black Panther’ #1”).
