Digital Manga is preparing to release the English language version of Hiroshi Takahashi's Worst manga series.  Worst, which is one of the most popular manga series in Japan, chronicles the hardscrabble lives of some tough teenagers who have to fight to gain respect.  Published by Akita Shoten in Japan, the Worst manga has already reached seven volumes.  Digital Manga, which will publish the Ikebukaro West Gate Park manga in June (see 'Digital Manga to Publish IWGP Manga'), plans on issuing the first volume of Worst in July with a $12.95 cover price.  Given the success of the GTO manga series both here and in Japan, the tough guys of Worst, who have already found major success in Japan, could be big winners here as well.
