Illektron, a new company that launched its first trading card game Battlez at Toy Fair in February, is planning additional Battlez releases this summer.  Described by company president Jerald Stuart as 'a fighting videogame on cards,' the game uses both cards and dice in its play, with attractive graphics and packaging.

The first product was the $19.95 Battlez Limited Edition 2-Player Training Kit, an introductory product which introduces the first game characters, The Infamous Doom and His Evil Twin.  It was released in February and is still available.  Next up is the Battlez:  The Ultimate Trading Card Game Special Edition, due out this summer at $14.95.  It will include new cards, including a new character deck of The Amazing Presto, a new character introduced in this product. 

Illektron also plans 5-card booster packs later this year.
