Nexus Games has announced that it has acquired a worldwide license to produce a Marvel strategy board game, which will be released next summer. The game will be for two to six players, each of which will play as a Marvel character. Playing pieces will be plastic figures of the Marvel characters. Among the settings will be Manhattan, Atlantis, and the Negative Zone.
Nexus produced War of the Ring, a strategic board game based on the Lord of the Rings. It was released in the U.S. by Fantasy Flight Games.
