Top Cow Productions and Marvel Comics have announced the first two crossover specials, a Darkness/Wolverine one-shot in August, and a Witchblade/Punisher book slated for December. The crossover titles are part of a packaging agreement that was announced 11 weeks ago (see 'Marvel and Top Cow in Joint Publishing Agreement'). Under the agreement Top Cow artists such as Tyler Kirkham have drawn Marvel titles (Amazing Spider-Man #530 & #531) -- and more announcements concerning Marvel comics that will be drawn by Kirkham, Mike Choi and other Top Cow draftsmen will be made at Wizard World Philadelphia (June 2-4).
Meanwhile Kirkham will handle the art chores on the Darkness/Wolverine title, which will be scripted by Frank Tieri, who has previously written issues of both The Darkness and Wolverine; and Mike Choi will draw the Witchblade/Punisher one-shot, which Ron Marz will script.
