Bandai Entertainment has announced that it will publish Witchblade Takeru, the manga adaptation of the Gonzo anime series (see 'Gonzo 'Witchblade' Anime Set').

The manga is based on the anime, which in turn was based on the American comic book.

This release is another aspect of the Bandai/Top Cow relationship which has already seen the release of manga format versions of Top Cow's Tomb Raider and Witchblade (see 'Bandai to Publish Top Cow Titles').

Release date is yet to be determined, but should coincide with the North American anime release.  FUNimation earlier obtained the North American broadcast rights to the series (see 'FUNimation Acquires Witchblade Anime').
