The Sunday New York Times 'Arts and Leisure' section devoted nearly a full broadsheet page to the prodigious comic output of Alexa Kitchen, the 9-year-old daughter of cartoonist/publisher/agent Denis Kitchen and his wife Stacey. Her first book, Drawing Comics is Easy! (Except When It's Hard), will ship as soon as orders are received from Diamond, which solicited orders of the book in the July Previews.
The article quotes Robert Crumb, Patrick (Mutts) McDonnell, King Features EIC Jay Kennedy, and Will Eisner's widow Ann extolling young Kitchen's talent in glowing terms.
