Comic Images has moved the release of its Stargate Collectible Card Game (see 'Comic Images Has Stargate CCG') from December 2006 to January 2007.  The Stargate CCG is a mission-based game, which players win by completing seven missions or by accumulating the greatest number of mission points. The game includes all the key characters and lore that have made the two Stargate TV series such enduring successes.

The Stargate CCG includes four Starter Decks (MSRP $10.99 each) based on key Stargate characters: Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter, Teal'C, and Daniel Jackson. Stargate CCG Booster Packs (MSRP $3.49) contain randomly pack cards featuring additional characters, plus assets and obstacles for players to assist (or delay) them in accomplishing their missions.
