ComicsPRO, the new comic retailer organization, has announced that it will hold its first annual meeting in Las Vegas on April 11th through 13th. It will be held at the Orleans Casino, which hosted the GAMA Trade Show for a number of years until it outgrew the venue. 

Attendees at this inaugural membership meeting will elect board members and officers, engage in group discussions, and help chart the future course of the organization. 

ComicsPRO recently received a seed donation from DC Comics, and has begun offering a number of member services (see 'DC Donates to ComicsPRO').

The dates put the event between two trade shows for game retailers, Mark Simmons' Games Expo (March 18-22) and the GAMA Trade Show (April 23-27), so retailers in both categories are going to have a busy spring.
