According to Variety, Dimension Films plans to develop a live-action movie based on Michael Allred's Madman.  Allred and George Huang (Swimming with Sharks) will write the screenplay and Huang will direct. 

 

Dimension Films also did Sin City and is using Troublemaker Studio's (and Sin City co-director) Robert Rodriguez to produce the film.
