Gwyneth Paltrow has joined the cast of the Iron Man feature, which starts shooting in March.  She'll play the role of Tony Stark's assistant, Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, joining Robert Downey Jr. in the title role (see 'Robert Downey Jr. To Portray Iron Man') and Terrence Howard as Rhodey. 

Iron Man is the first film featuring its characters that Marvel is financing itself.  It's slated for release in May of 2008.
