Marvel announced plans to release Uncanny Inhumans #0 in April as a prelude to the new ongoing series.

Written by Charles Soule (Inhuman, She-Hulk), with art and main cover by Steve McNiven (Civil War, Old man Logan), the story is a new reader jumping on point.  The plot will follow Black Bolt as he leaves the Inhumans behind, striking out on his own mission, which will see him cross paths with Kang the Conqueror.  A variant cover will be done by Simone Bianchi.

With Inhumans added to the Marvel movie slate with a release date of November 2, 2018 (see "'Black Panther,' 'Captain Marvel,' 'Inhumans' Movies"), and Vin Diesel teasing involvement (see "Vin Diesel Teases 'Inhumans' Role"), there has been renewed interest in the fictional superhuman race.

Marvel included the "Inhumans--Attilan Rising" teaser in its fall slate of Summer 2015 event promotions (see "More Marvel Teasers for Summer 2015").
