Sonic and his pals are sprinting into the multiverse of Magic: The Gathering via three Secret Lair sets. The first of the three sets, Secret Lair X Sonic: Friends & Foes, introduces seven new-to-Magic cards that can be used in the Commander, Legacy, and Vintage formats. The cards featured in this set are as follows: a Super State, a Knuckles the Echidna, an Amy Rose, a Dr. Eggman, a Miles "Tails" Prower, a Shadow the Hedgehog, and a Sonic the Hedgehog. Foil versions of the set will retail for $49.99, and non-foil versions of the set will retail for $39.99. The non-foil version will be available via retail on August 21, 2025.

The other two sets offered in this drop showcase reprints of Commander cards in Sonic card treatments. Secret Lair x Sonic: Turbo Gear comes with the following:  a The Reaver Cleaver as "Knuckles's Gloves"; a Swiftfoot Boots as "Air Shoes"; a Myr Battlesphere as "Egg Hammer"; a Hammer of Nazahan as "Piko Piko Hammer"; a Lightning Greaves as "Power Sneakers"; a Weatherlight as "Tornado, Sonic's Biplane"; and a Myr token as "Egg Pawn." Secret Lair X Sonic: Chasing Adventure offers players Commander staple spell cards with Sonic art, such as a Generous Gift, an Open the Armory, a Fabricate, a Deadly Dispute, an Unexpected Windfall, a Sol Ring, and a Treasure token. Non-foil versions of these sets will retail for $29.99 each and foil versions will be $39.99.
