Marvel Entertainment and Netflix announced the release date for the Daredevil series, via a 15-second motion poster video below.

The video shows a cityscape at dusk, with the lights coming on in the darkening city to form the title character’s familiar logo in red, and the date April 10, 2015 revealed to the sound of a beating heart.

Marvel also released a still of Charlie Cox as Daredevil throwing down with Paul Mann (Piotr), via USA Today.

Anticipation for the series has been building, with Marvel releasing images from the series over the holidays (see “'Daredevil' Pics”).
