Beaton’s popular Hark! A Vagrant webcomic won a 2011 Harvey Award for Best Online Comics Work (see “The 2011 Harvey Award Winners”).  Drawn & Quarterly’s subsequent print collection of Hark! A Vagrant spent two months on the Nielsen BookScan Graphic Novel Bestsellers chart (see “Sailor Moon' Still on Top”), five months on the New York Times graphic novel bestseller list, and appeared on many “Best of 2011” lists, including Publishers Weekly, Time, and NPR.

The new collection will see Beaton lampooning more literary, historical and contemporary figures.  The 5.5 x 8.8, black and white hardcover will include 160 pages and has an MSRP of $19.95.  It will be distributed in the U.S. by Farrar, Straus & Giroux and in Canada by Raincoast Books.
