Fantasy Flight Games has announced new accessories for two licensed Star Wars tabletop games: the Star Wars: Armada Maneuver Tool Accessory Pack and two Star Wars: X-Wing Playmats.
The 3'x3' neoprene X-Wing Playmats are available in two styles--Star Wars Death Star Assault Playmat and Starfield Playmat. The mats will replace the Starfield Game Tile Kit which has been discontinued. The mats are available now. MSRP is $39.95 each.
Star Wars X-Wing continues to expand, with the Imperial Raider joining the game in Q1 (see "Huge New Ship Designed for 'Star Wars X-Wing'").
Available in Q2, the Star Wars: Armada Maneuver Tool will be released as an Armada accessory pack. The tool allows players to adjust the courses for their massive starships, while accounting for inertia. It is also an easy way to add a second maneuver tool to the game. Further, it can be used to build a shorter maneuver tool to accompany a full-size maneuver tool to use with slower fleets or navigate ships more easily through tighter spaces. Players are also allowed to use the tool to measure their ship’s possible positions before committing to a move. MSRP is $7.95.
Star Wars: Armada is expanding quickly, with several expansions planned for Q1 (see "'Star Wars: Armada' Wave One Ships") and the game will join FFG’s organized play slate in the spring (see "'Star Wars: Armada' and 'Imperial Assault' Added to OP").
