Bushiroad has announced an accelerated release schedule for the English edition of Cardfight!! Vanguard TCG in 2015.

“The overall release schedule for Cardfight!! Vanguard is very aggressive in order to sync up with Japanese version of the game,” said Bushiroad CEO Takaaki Kidani. “Bushiroad has intentionally skipped a season of the animation in the English version so that international audiences can catch up with the latest [Generation] arc.”

Bushiroad announced the release schedule for the first half of 2015 in December (see “Bushiroad Reveals First Half of 2015 Schedule”), with the new ‘G’ arc series card game releases debuting next month (see “New 'Cardfight!! Vanguard' Set Introduces New 'G' Arc”).

“The English edition of Cardfight!! Vanguard is expected to be in line with Japanese edition in late 2015.” said Kidani.

The English-dubbed Cardfight!! Vanguard G anime debuted on the official Cardfight!! Vanguard YouTube Channel on January 4, with new episodes released weekly. This decision meant the fourth season, the Legion Mate arc of the original animation, was not dubbed into English, though Bushiroad told ICv2 that venues streaming the Japanese subbed series have all the episodes.

The company has also increased organized play initiatives (see “Bushiroad Plans New 'Cardfight!! Vanguard' OP”), including plans to issue Cardfight!! Vanguard vinyl banners to Official Tournament shops this spring.
