Two manga series, Fullmetal Alchemist and From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman, are now available on the Webtoon platform, in color and reformatted for vertical scrolling. Both series are updated twice a week.

Fullmetal Alchemist, by Hiromu Arakawa, is a classic series that VIZ Media has been publishing in the U.S. since 2005; one of the best selling manga of all time, it has been adapted into two anime as well as light novels, video games, and more (see “‘Fullmetal Alchemist’ for ‘Union Arena TCG’”). The series launched on Webtoon on May 7 and has had 1.6 million views and over 170,000 subscribers.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman is a manga adaptation of the light novels of the same name, both published by Yen Press. The series has been adapted into an anime that streams worldwide on Amazon Prime. Since debuting on the platform on May 5, it has accumulated 2.3 million views and almost 130,000 subscribers.
