Fantasy Flight Games has announced details for the second wave of expansions for the Star Wars: Amada tactical miniature board game, some of which were previewed earlier this year (see '''Star Wars X-Wing,' 'Armada,' 'Forbidden Stars' Pics").  The Wave Two expansions will release in Q3, and several of the miniatures will be pre-painted.

The Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack includes the massive battleship pre-painted mini, two ship cards, three command dials, 18 upgrades, and tokens.  The upgrades allow players to snare their foes with a tractor beam, and also fly the fleet into battle under the command of Darth Vader himself.  MSRP is $49.95.

The Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack will include eight irregular squadrons, including freighters, patrol craft and bombers.  Like the core set and Wave One expansions, these miniatures will be supplied unpainted, though they are presented in colors that complement their corresponding fleets.  This way players can decide if they would like them to represent non-unique squadrons, or specific aces such as Han Solo or Boba Fett.  MSRP is $19.95.

The Home One Expansion Pack will include the large, pre-painted miniature of the MC80 star cruiser of Admiral Ackbar, two ship cards, three command dials and 14 upgrades.  MSRP is $39.95.

The MC30c Frigate Expansion Pack includes the pre-painted miniature, two ship cards (Scout or Torpedo Frigate), two command dials, 10 upgrade cards, and tokens.  MSRP is $29.95.

The Imperial Raider Expansion Pack includes the pre-painted, small-base Raider miniature,  two ship cards (Raider I-class or Raider II-class Corvette), eight upgrade cards, a command dial, speed dial and tokens. MSRP is $19.95.

The game’s Wave One Expansions (see "'Star Wars: Armada' Wave One Ships") were delayed due to the recent West Coast port dispute (see "Port Problems Delay FFG 'Star Wars' Shipments").  An Armada Maneuver Tool accessory pack will be released in Q2 (see "New 'Star Wars: Armada' and 'X-Wing' Accessories").
