The Pokemon Company will release the new XY—Ancient Origins Booster for the Pokemon TCG on August 12.

The set will include over 90 cards. This release transforms ancient secrets into modern battling techniques, and Hoopa-Ex brings new Mythical power to the world. There are new Special Energy cards and new Ancient Traits.  New pokemon Machamp-EX, Lugia-EX, and Kyurem-EX, Mega Ampharos-EX, Mega Tyranitar-EX, and Mega Sceptile-EX are included, as well as “shiny” versions of Primal Kyogre-EX, Primal Groudon-EX, and Mega Rayquaza-EX.

The Ancient Origins set release will include Three-Pack Boosters, Theme Decks, Mini Binders, and an Elite Trainer Box featuring Hoopa sleeves. The Three-Pack Boosters will include a foil promo card.  The Trainer Box will include 8 Ancient Origins Booster Packs, 65 card sleeves featuring Hoopa, 45 Energy cards, a player’s guide, a coin-flip die, 6 damage-counter dice, two acrylic condition markers, and four dividers.
