The DBZ Movie Collection booster-only set introduces 142 brand-new cards depicting characters and scenes from the first four Dragon Ball Z feature films: Dead Zone, The Worlds’s Strongest, Tree of Might, and Lord Slug. There are four new playable villain characters: Garlic Jr. Turtles, Dr. Wheelo and Lord Slug, as well as two powerful Ultra Rare cards. The set also lays the foundation for future deck types.
Each booster pack contains 1 rare card. There are 8 foil parallels per box and 1 Ultra Rare card in every other box. Packs include 12 cards, with 24 packs per box and 12 boxes per case. MSRP is $3.99/pack.
A Launch Kit is available for release events, which will include a "P1 Saiyan Intimidation" participation card for players, as well as a "P2 Isolation" card for top players. The kit will also contain an exclusive DBZ TCG Collection Binder which includes "P21 Krillin’s Descro Disk," and two play mats. Stores may run either a "Sealed" format event or use the new "Launch Pack" format.
The previous DBZ TCG booster, Heroes and Villains, released in March (see "'DBZ TCG: Heroes and Villains' Booster").
