Anyone who thinks they might have what it takes to color a contemporary comic book will get their chance at bringing the iconic Marvel Comics’ characters to life in vibrant colors starting in October with the release of the Avengers: Age of Ultron Coloring Book ($7.99).  This 72-page coloring book for adults features elegant line work by Bryan Hitch, Brandon Peterson, Carlos Pacheco and others—all of it awaiting the personal touch of a colorist.

The Age of Ultron adult coloring book will be followed in February of 2016 by the release of the Little Marvel By Skottie Young Coloring Book, which of course will feature the delightful rug-rat versions of the Marvel heroes created by Young, who has no peer when it comes to combining spandex and Pampers in his depiction of superheroic tykes.

The third and final adult coloring book announced today by Marvel is the Civil War Coloring Book, which is due out in April of 2016.  This release date is no coincidence.  Marvel is hoping to get a major mass market bump for this Civil War Coloring Book from the May 6, 2016 debut of the Captain America: Civil War film (see “Best in Shows-Q2, 2016”).
