Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, Dark Horse Comics has announced Greg Pak’s new Kingsway West miniseries, Greg Rucka’s new Dragon Age comic, a new Lara Croft series, a Call of Duty: Black Ops comic written by Larry Hama, and several other video game-related comic releases.

Kingsway West is set in a fantasy version of the American Old West, where Chinese gunslinger Kingsway Law must battle magic, monsters and racist vigilantes. The four-issue miniseries, which launches on November 11, will be written by Pak, with art and covers by Mirko Colak (Turok, Red Skull: Incarnate).  Pak has created a preorder system on his website which allows readers to preorder the entire series online through their local comic shop.

Greg Rucka will pen the newest chapter of Dark Horse Comics and BioWare’s
Dragon Age comic series: Dragon Age: Magekiller.  The series, which runs parallel to events in the Dragon Age: Inquisition video game, will be illustrated by Carmen Carnero (Cyclops), with cover art by Sachin Teng.  The series launches on December 16.
