French actress Lea Seydoux, who is starring in James Bond:  Spectre, will play Belladonna Boudreaux, aka Bella, in Gambit, according to Deadline.  In the comics, the character Bella has powers of her own and becomes head of the Assassin’s Guild, while Gambit (to be played by Channing Tatum, see “Channing Tatum Closes ‘Gambit’ Deal”) is the head of the Thieves Guild. 

The film will be directed by Rise of the Planet of the Apes helmer Rubert Wyatt.  It has a release date of October 7, 2016 (see “Best in Shows—Q4 2016”).
