Z-Man Games has announced plans to release Skyliners and Castellion, two games premiering at Spiel in Essen.

Skyliners is a semi-cooperative strategy game, where players collectively erect towers out of the game box itself, adding floors to their buildings to gain the best possible view. Each player bets on the buildings that will be visible on the skyline from their side of the board at the end of the game.

The game is for 2 - 4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 -40 minutes. MSRP and North American release date were not announced.

Castellion is a tile-based game set in designer Shadi Torbey’s Oniverse game universe (Onirim, Sylvion, Urbion).  Players are the commander of Castellion castle, which is under attack by the polymorphic Menace.  Players must rush to build the castle’s defenses, laying one tile after another, erecting towers and building to minimize the damages. Players can also discard tiles to unleash their special power. The castle must survive three rounds of monster attacks.

The box contains 90 tiles, 27 cards, a Menace pawn a rulebook and an expansion. The game is for 1 -2 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. Release is planned for Q4. MSRP was not announced.
