Pinnelas began her industry career as a production intern at Marvel Entertainment in 2008, working as an editorial intern and digital comics coordinator for Marvel before being named Assistant Editor in 2009. She also served as Assistant Editor, Collected Editions at DC Comic from January 2013 until earlier this year, when DC moved its offices to the West Coast.
“Rachel brings experience, perspective, and drive to the job, and she hit the ground running from day one by managing the Swords of Sorrow crossover, setting up the Red Sonja, Dejah Thoris, and Vampirella relaunches, and so much more," said Senior Editor Joseph Rybandt.
