New York Comic Con News: At the “All-New, All-Different Marvel Panel,” Marvel Comics revealed a Spider-Women Crossover event that will debut in the Spring of 2016 with the launch of standalone Spider-Women #1, and will then continue in Dennis Hopeless and Javier Rodriguez’s Spider-Woman, Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez’s Spider-Gwen, and Robbie Thompson and Stacey Lee’s Silk.

The crossover event will link three female members of the Spider-Man family as Jessica Drew and Cindy Moon find themselves stranded in Gwen Stacy’s world, while at the same time alternate world versions of their characters are wreaking havoc in New York in the main Marvel Universe.  Marvel released a cover image for Spider-Women #1 by Yasmine Putti that shows Jessica and Cindy upside down in tethers in front of an image of a blank-eyed Gwen.

Earlier at the NYCC Marvel announced another crossover for 2016, Avengers: Standoff (see “Marvel Announces First Major 2016 Crossover Event”).
