Mark Millar announced several new comic projects for 2016 including Chrononauts 2, Jupiter’s Legacy 2, and Hit-Girl, among others.

According to Comicbook.com, Jupiter’s Circle 2 will arrive in Spring 2016 with Chris Sprouse, joining Millar and Frank Quitely. Jupiter’s Legacy will also get an update in 2016.

Millar will re-team with Sean Gordon Murphy for a new Chrononauts time-traveling  buddy-comedy adventure (see “Universal Nabs 'Chrononauts'”).  Chrononauts 2: Futureshock is scheduled to launch in July

Batman writer Greg Capullo announced earlier this month that he would be taking a break in the spring to work with Millar (see “Greg Capullo To Take Hiatus From 'Batman'”), which Millar teased again, along with another 2016 project in development with Jae Lee (Namor, The Sub-Mariner, Dark Tower).

Kick-Ass spinoff Hit-Girl will have a new comic, but it won’t be done by Millar and John Romita Jr.  The writer and artist will be announced on January 10.

Millar also announced his new Marvel Icon series Empress for Spring 2016 (see “Mark Millar and Stuart Immonen Reunite for 'Empress'”).
