Dark Horse announced an all-new original graphic novel of Bruce Zick’s science-fiction dystopia The Zone Continuum, on February 24.

The Zone Continuum was originally printed by Caliber Comics in 1992, and rebooted in 2006 as a web comic on Komikwerks. These all-new stories will expand on the mythos of The Zone, and the graphic novel will also include a Zone glossary and sketchbook. The 120-page, black and white trade paperback has an MSRP of $15.99.

Atop the New York City skyline, the invisible war between two nigh-immortal champions for control of the extradimensional Zone 27 rages on.

“The urgency of the concepts is still valid today - even more so, as you will see - and the old readers as well as new ones will be excited to see where the stories are going,” Zick said in the announcement. “I’ve added a much richer, deeper mythology of ideas and characters, with clearer and more immediate plots and crises, more humor, and more pathos. At least I think I have. You tell me. I’ll be in the Zone, waiting for you to join me.”
