Titan Comics and BBC Worldwide have announced a new ongoing Doctor Who comic series starring the Ninth Doctor launching in April.

The ninth incarnation of the Time Lord was played on the BBC television series by Christopher Eccleston, and the character was the subject of the recent five-part comic mini-series (see “Jenna Coleman Will Be Back”). Now the character will star in an ongoing monthly title.
Cavan Scott, who wrote the mini-series, will serve as the new ongoing title’s writer. Interior art on the first three-part story arc will be done by Adriana Melo (Miss Marvel, Spider-Man).
