Eagle-Gryphon Games has announced two new board games: Loop, inc. and Fleet: Wharfside.

In Loop, inc., designed by Scott Almes (Tiny Epic Galaxies), the players are time travellers motivated more by profit than any desire to protect a coherent timeline.  By repeating the same “day” three times (thanks to their time machines), they compete to make the most profit and gain the coveted bonus from Mr. Loop.

The game includes 4 player boards, a score board and components board, 67 cards, 60 time machine components, and 68 tokens.  Loop, inc. is for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in about half an hour.  MSRP is $49.99.

A follow-up to their earlier titles, Fleet and Fleet: Arctic Bounty, Matt Riddle and Ben Pinchback’s new Fleet: Wharfside is a stand-alone game.  Here players try to fill contracts at the docks by using a drafting mechanism to unload fish from the ships of their fleet.  Contracts grant bonuses until they are fulfilled, forcing players to strategically decide when to complete them.

Fleet:  Wharfside includes 72 goods, 20 contracts, and 15 other game cards.  The game is for 2 to 4 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in half an hour.  MSRP is $17.99.

The two new titles follow a trio of games released by the publisher earlier this autumn (see “‘Xenon Profiteer,’ ‘The Gallerist,’ ‘Wombat Rescue’”).
