IDW Publishing has announced two new Artist’s Editions for spring release: Jack Kirby’s The Mighty Thor and Al Williamson’s Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Jack Kirby’s The Mighty Thor Artist’s Edition is the first Marcel Comics Artist’s Edition to feature Kirby’s work. The 15" x 22" hardcover includes stories from Journey Into Mystery #111, #117, #118, and other stories; along with a gallery section of Kirby’s work. Release is planned for May.
Al Williamson’s Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Artist’s Edition will include the complete Empire adaptation published in issues #39 - #44 of monthly Marvel Star Wars. It will also include pages from Star Wars #50, #98, and the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi miniseries. The 160-page hardcover will measure 14" x 21". Release is planned for April.
