Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for its OVA adaptation of Batman:  The Killing Joke, due out later this year.   The animated feature, directed by Sam Liu, is due out later this year (see “Warner Bros. to Animate ‘The Killing Joke’”), with an adult feel expected (see “’The Killing Joke’ Could be Batman’s First ‘R’”). 

The 64-page graphic novel has been red-hot of late, hitting #4 on the March 2016 BookScan chart of the Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels in the book channel (see “March 2016 BookScan – Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels”).
